Who We Are

Indigo Ink Graphic Design offers a complete line of creative communications products for both print and web. We have deep experience and long-standing ties to the community and northern British Columbia. We can develop a complete system of communications products that conveys a professional image from the web site to the worksite. We offer web site development, design and maintenance, logo and graphic design, brochures, manuals, advertisements, business cards and letterhead, photo manipulation, and sign system design. We also offer writing services for a variety of audiences. We have a particular interest in scientific communications with extensive experience in forestry, fisheries and environmental science communications. We also have a broad background in tourism and general business communications.

Karen Heathman, B.Sc. - karen@indigodesign.ca

While being an accomplished artist from an early age, Karen studied science and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of British Columbia. During school and after graduation she spent ten years working in government before starting her own business. Karen is very proficient at planning, designing and implementing a variety of projects. In addition to web design and e-business products, Karen provides a range of quality print services: writing, desktop publishing, business identities, corporate logos, graphic design and illustration. She has a solid understanding of business needs, an eye for detail and an artistic flare.

Rick Heathman, B.Sc. - rick@indigodesign.ca

Rick has thirty years as a planner and manager with the BC Government, where he developed solid project management skills. During his career Rick managed up to $6 million annual budgets, 25 staff, and large, multi-year contracts. His duties also included financial, administrative and human resource management; resource conservation, public education and communications, public safety and enforcement. He served on provincial level committees and chaired a team of senior managers responsible for inter-agency coordination and land use planning across the north eastern quarter of the province. Rick is currently managing a large, multi-year international project for Indigo Ink Graphic Design under contract to the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). Rick is a proficient writer and editor with a sound understanding of environmental principals.

Jordann Audet - jordann@indigodesign.ca

A recent graduate of Prince George's College of New Caledonia, Jordann obtained her diploma of New Media Communications and Design with focuses in web design, desktop publishing and multimedia experiences. Jordann's passion for fine arts brings creativity, while her interest in digital media allows her to take full advantage of new technologies. Jordann believes supporting the local arts community and growing up in central BC's culture aids her in creating solutions to fit the unique needs of northern individuals, businesses and non-profits.
